“Vimal was hired to the Angola LNG project as a Consultant, to determine completeness of the plant, transferring the systems from Construction to Operations. Vimal was intent on improving the Systems and Processes. By working with the Contractor and the Construction team, he made changes, and implemented process improvements, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of System. Vimal stayed “in touch” with the status of the plant, by getting personally involved with field construction and commissioning activities. Toward the end of his assignment with Angola LNG, he was asked to fill in for the Construction Area Manager, picking up a significant ledger of issues to be resolved. He was resourceful in engaging the right stakeholders to progress or resolve each issue”

“I worked closely with Vimal Kaliprasad during the execution phase of the Angola LNG project. Vimal had an essential role in ensuring the Owner’s team effectively managed the execution process by taking acceptance of plant from the EPC Contractor, ensuring that relevant parties involved, setting up tracking, monitoring progress and expediting any delays. In conjunction
with this was the oversight of the queries and interfacing with construction, commissioning and quality teams to verify close-out of required deficient items prior to acceptance and final sign-off. He regularly interfaced with the Contractor identifying and resolving blockages in processes. Vimal efficiently handled all the above processes contributing to the successful completion of execution”
